Henry IV Part II
Henry IV Parts I and II are a continuation of Shakespeare's chronicles of English history which he had started (out of sequence) with Henry VI Parts I, II and III and Richard II.
The RSC is staging Henry IV Parts I and II in Stratford-upon-Avon, Newcastle, on tour and in London until 24 January 2014. You can find out more about the current production and buy tickets here. Henry IV Part II was also screened live to cinemas on 18 June 2014.
Here you can find a synopsis of the play, information on when Henry IV Part II was written and the sources Shakespeare may have used.
Over the coming years the RSC is staging the entire Shakespearean canon on our stages. As those plays are staged, we will be adding more resources to these pages.
