What Country Friends is This?

PS

September 12, 2012

On Bard DutyI've put these blogs into a book. If you've enjoyed following our story, I think you will like it.

I've included some other stuff which I hope will be interesting to all lovers of Shakespeare and the RSC. I'm hopeful it will be particularly useful to young people starting to perform Shakespeare on the stage.

The RSC have said they will stock the book so, if you are in Stratford, you may be able to buy it from the RSC shop, which will be good for the theatre. If you are not in Stratford you can buy the book online here: www.lulu.com/spotlight/nicholasday

You might want to tell me what you make of it? That will be useful for any possible future revisions.

Thanks for the blog - it's been a fascinating insight into the world of an RSC actor - and well done for keeping it going right to the end!
I shall nip in to the RSC to pick up a copy of your book; a great way to commemorate the season and your excellent contribution to it.
Best, Keith

The book is a fantastic read and I'd highly recommend you all to buy it, especially if you've enjoyed reading the blogs like I have. A great insight into the life on an actor at the RSC, and great chapters including a guided tour of Stratford and a great section on acting Shakespeare (a section any actor should probably read). I'm not a book reader, but I read all in one day, I picked it up and couldn't put it down!
