Rehearsing Robin Hood

Understudies

December 6, 2011

Darri, James and IrisSo now the show is up and running its really important that we are all covered if anything goes wrong.

Emma Manton is covering me and we have been chatting about my quick changes and various things within my track.

I am going to make sure I see the run they do of the show. I really want to see it from an audience perspective and also nick any great ideas Emma has for Marion.

Emma plays the Green Man in the show, it is my favourite part not only visually but she brings such a beautiful warmth to 'him'.

At that part of the show I'm up on the top platform lying down just listening to it waiting for my cue. It's lovely.

I did an interview for the Stage magazine today. I am really not very good at interviews. I never really know what to say, and usually what I do say is a bit silly.

Next week I am exited as I have a slot on the 'artist's development programme' at the RSC and I have a voice and text session with Cicely Berry. I met her the other day and I am keen to get started with her.
