The day that I went to visit Graham was magical. There was something exciting about visiting a vicarage in a small country town to meet a person who kept records of their passion as well as collected and maintained memorabilia of their visits to the theatre.

On March 5th I ran a creative writing workshop at Kentish Town Library. Our theme was love and participants were asked to write answers to questions such as - What did your first kiss taste like? What for you is the smell of love? What's your idea of the perfect place to propose/declare your love?

I ran a creative writing workshop at Chalk Farm Library on February 28th. Participants were asked what is your perfect bed made of? What does your perfect kitchen taste like? What does your perfect garden smell like? Who is your perfect neighbour? What can you hear on your perfect doorstep? What does home mean to you? They also wrote love letters between Joe and Mary, two of the characters in Adelaide Road.

A visit to the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment this morning. While Mike Ashcroft, our choreographer, drills the rest of the company in a bit of movement work, and Paul Englishby teaches the motet which opens the play, I take Olly Rix and Alex Hassell (playing Cardenio and Fernando, respectively) to the Hyde Park Barracks.

On Saturday, February 12, I ran a workshop at Swiss Cottage Library with the Camden Poetry Group getting them to write poems around the idea of roads and journeys. This is a group of local poets who've been holding regular meetings for the last forty years.
