As we enter, I can't help grinning. It's like recognising an old friend. Niki is grinning too. And I can really begin to see the production now. I can imagine just how the play may work in this space.

The first clue?

Then in the most extraordinary script the word 'Cardenna'. The initial C looks like a hot cross bun, a sort of O with a cross through it. The word seemed to have its own enigmatic calligraphic flourish.

And this is the start of the journey.

"And what exactly are you researching?" the admissions officer enquired. "I'm looking for the evidence of a play said to be written by Shakespeare and based on Cervantes." I said. "Hmmm..." she mused, and perched me on a chair by her desk, while she decided how to process my rather unusual application.
