Last summer I visited the 2011 incarnation of the Serpentine Gallery's Pavilion. This is an annual commission for an architect or artist to create a temporary structure for the summer.

On the last weekend of November I made a much overdue trip to Berlin. I had not been for three years – since directing and choreographing Guys and Dolls in Germany in 2008 – that's another story!

This blog will be a bit like a journal of the production and the processes and collecting of bits and pieces. We are essentially devising a new piece of movement based theatre for The Swan here in Stratford-upon-Avon.
