Who's in charge?

Who's this? Dominic Cooke is the director.

Context: Initially Lady Macbeth seems in control, urging her husband on to the murder of Duncan and his own advancement. As the play progresses, however, Macbeth begins to act alone, planning the murder of Banquo and shutting Lady Macbeth out of the secret. As her nights are increasingly troubled so Macbeth becomes accustomed to acts of blood. By the end of the play he has become so used to having 'supp'd full with horrors' that nothing can shock him any more - not even his own wife's death.
