The difference between Banquo and Macbeth

Who's this? Greg Hicks plays Macbeth.

This interview is in two parts:
Part one is playing - Part two

Context: At the outset Macbeth and Banquo seem equal: both are generals in Duncan's army, both have done good service in the wars against Norway and are applauded by Duncan for this. Of course both have a vested interest in the witches' prophecy: Macbeth may be destined for the throne but Banquo will be the one to produce a line of kings. This allows for the possibility of envy and jealousy between them - one for immediate success, one for long-term gain.

Think about: The difference in the two men's reactions to the prophecies.
