How the play works

Who's this? Michael Boyd is the director.

Context: the play be a philosophical debate or an energetic tale of revenge?

Did you know? Michael Boyd was keen to keep the play 'lean and mean' to find the active energy of the DC comic that had influenced his first response as a boy. He wanted the play to have a sense of being on a knife edge in a world of spy masters where purgatory is real.

DC Comics are the largest publisher of comics (publishing since 1935). They are the inventors of the super-hero with such creations as Superman, Batman, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman. More recently the comics have explored social issues and psychological horror. They have inspired films, television shows and musicals.
