Confession?

Who's this? Clive Wood plays Claudius.

Did you know? As he increasingly fears being found out, Claudius has to think fast and makes some poor decisions. His reliance on poison - for the original murder, for the pearl in the cup and for the sword - show him for the cowardly murderer revenge tragedies delight in. When Hamlet kills Polonius Claudius knows he is in real danger. When he fails to pray he is left to face the ultimate fear - the impossibility of redemption.
