Decisions and choices

Who's this? Gregory Doran is the director.

Context: A director has to be imaginative, tactful, resourceful, focused, decisive, perceptive, inventive, adaptable, assured, receptive, persuasive ... and have a sense of humour! He empowers the actors, encouraging them to a position of confidence where they fully understand who their characters are. The choices each actor makes then will fit the pattern of the play and maintain the overall reality.
