Young People's Shakespeare Week:
The Taming of the Shrew
In October, thousands of young people took over our theatres for the second Young People Shakespeare (YPS) Week at the RSC. Starting on Monday 10 October the week consisted of performances, events, arts projects and workshops. A summary of the weeks events are detailed below:
- Fighting Words an online interactive writing project, creating a script in response to the show
- Workshops led by members of the acting company
- Free post-show onstage events led by the acting company
- Interactive art installations around the theatre
- Street theatre performed by local students
