RSC Summer School

RSC Summer School participants at a session

Dates: Sunday 16 - Friday 21 August 2015
The course is open to all adults aged 18+.

Now in its 67th year, this celebrated week-long course offers participants insights into current productions and the theatre-making process with talks by actors and directors. The course also offers a deeper understanding of the plays and their context with lectures by leading academics.

The RSC Summer School is delivered in collaboration with The Shakespeare Institute, which is also the venue for the week.

The course is offered around productions in The Swan and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and participants will have the chance to meet and talk to the actors and creative artists involved in staging the shows. We'll publish the full schedule as soon as it's available.

The sessions will run in the daytime between 10am and 3pm. The Summer School fee does not include tickets to the performances so if you wish to attend the shows in the evening, you need to book your ticket through our Box Office.
