Rebecca Gould
Rebecca Gould is one of our Lead Practitioners.
She's a theatre director and producer. She specialises in directing new plays, education projects, and directing plays for and with young people.
Rebecca has worked as Project Director for our Learning and Performance Network, leading teacher training days and working with schools to prepare performances for the Regional Schools Celebration in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Previously, her roles have included:
- Associate Director at the Theatre Royal, Plymouth
- Director of the English Shakespeare Company's Education Company
- Young People's Projects Producer at the National Theatre
- Associate Director of Made in Wales Theatre Company, Cardiff
Her work has a strong international dimension: she has produced and directed productions and festivals in:
- London, England
- Cardiff, Wales
- Hong Kong
- Kolkata, India
- Ghana
She co-founded Tinderbox with Jeff Teare in 2002 and she has worked closely with the Wellcome Trust to foster a wider awareness of advances in biomedicine.
