A Night Less Ordinary

The RSC is taking part in A Night Less Ordinary offering 50 free tickets for evening performances at The Courtyard Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon every Tuesday until February 2011*. 40 tickets are available to be booked in advance and 10 will be available on the day of the performance.

We are also offering free tickets for Monday to Friday evening performances of Twelfth Night at the Duke of York's Theatre in London until 27 February 2010.

Theatre Royal in Newcastle
On the opening night of each production £5 tickets are available for free as part of the Arts Council England's A Night Less Ordinary Scheme. These are available from 9am on the day. Check www.newcastletheatres.org.uk for details.


*Terms and Conditions: Individuals can claim a maximum of 2 tickets per person, per production; both ticket holders must be aged between 16-25 years old; all tickets will be held at the Box Office for collection from 1 hour before the start of the show; proof of age of both ticket holders will be required; this offer cannot be applied retrospectively to tickets already purchased.

The RSC would like to make Shakespeare and live theatre accessible to young adults coming to the theatre independently. For this reason we offer tickets for all productions for just £5 to anyone aged from 16 – 25.

These tickets are allocated throughout the theatre, which means you could save up to £30 on the standard ticket price.


How to buy £5 tickets: Stratford-upon-Avon

A total of 50 £5 tickets are available for each performance at The Courtyard Theatre (except Press Night). 40 tickets are available to purchase in advance and 10 tickets will be sold on the day of the performance from The Courtyard Theatre Box Office.

Advance tickets for Stratford-upon-Avon can be bought online, by calling the RSC Ticket Hotline on 0844 800 1110 or in person at The Courtyard Theatre Box Office.

To book your £5 ticket online all you need to do is select the date of the performance you wish to attend, enter the promotion code 1625 in the box on the right hand side and then select your seat.

Please remember that all tickets must be collected from The Courtyard Theatre Box Office (£5 tickets are not available for collection from the ticket kiosk) and are available for collection from one hour before the performance. Proof of age is required.

As with previous years, we have a limited number of £5 tickets available for every performance of Twelfth Night at Duke of York's Theatre, London. Five tickets can be booked in advance and 15 will be available to be bought in person on the day from 10am.

How to buy £5 tickets: Newcastle

50 tickets will be held off sale (across a range of prices) for each performance at the Theatre Royal. 25 of these tickets can be booked in advance. The remaining 25 will be sold from the Theatre Royal Box Office from 9am (10am Wednesday) on the day of each performance.

This offer is for individuals only and cannot be used for Group or Family Ticket bookings. Tickets must be booked and paid for by individuals between the ages of 16 and 25 inclusive (adults over the age of 25 cannot buy tickets on behalf of younger people).

There is a maximum of two tickets per person per performance. All tickets, including those booked in advance, can only be collected in person from the Box Office, and proof of entitlement will be required for all tickets.
