Sianed JonesComposer/teacher/collaborator with the Brazilian company Nos Do Morro/Gallery 37 on The Two Gentlemen of Verona, Composer Twelfth Night, commissioned to write Bread, Bath, Boardroom and Bloody Murder (a short overture to an opera) for the New Work Festival, commissioned to write Caliban and Afagddu for the 2004 New Works Festival and musician on Beauty and the Beast and Eastward Ho!

Sianed Jones works internationally as a composer/performer/teacher/improviser/producer/collaborator specialising in extended vocal techniques in cross art form projects. With an upbringing drenched in Welsh choral singing, Sianed’s research into extended vocal techniques has taken her to Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, Madagascar, Mongolia Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

Sianed recently received a Creative Wales Award (Welsh Arts Council) to compose Taliesin (a Solo/Video/Installation/Performance) with video maker Henrietta Hale.
