Currently on tour
The new play Days of Significance by Roy Williams tours Newcastle upon Tyne, Oxford, Coventry, Poole, Cardiff and Salford during October - November 2009.

UK touring
The tour travels to venues throughout the UK, accompanied by an extensive education and outreach programme. The RSC's touring heritage includes the first 'mobile' tour which began in 1978 with productions of Twelfth Night and Chekhov's The Three Sisters, starring Ian McKellen. Since then the Company has toured over 30 different productions. The tour has visited over 120 different British towns and cities in the past 25 years.

Overseas touring
As well as residencies in Michigan and Washington, the Company has increasingly been invited to perform overseas. Over the past few years, audiences in China, Japan, and Kuala Lumpur have enjoyed RSC touring performances.
