Business, pleasure or a bit of both? We have the perfect venue for you, whether it's a wedding, christening, birthday or Christmas party, a corporate event or a gala dinner.

Thank you for your continued interest in hiring a space at the Royal Shakespeare Company. We are working on plans to get our exciting spaces opened for hires and events soon and will update this page when bookings and site visits are available.

Our most popular party is what we call an 'Up-and-Down party', which take place in the foyers in The Other Place from 7pm - 1am. The start of your party is in the upper foyer whilst pre-theatre dining and Susie's bar is open to the public in the foyer below you. From 9pm you'll have exclusive use of both upper and lower foyers, perfect for live music and dancing.

This private room on the third floor of the theatre is perfect for business meetings and private dining for up to 24 people.

Studio theatre

The Other Place

The Studio Theatre in The Other Place seats up to 200 people with close proximity to many breakout rooms as well as in-house catering.

Buzz Goodbody

The Other Place

The Buzz Goodbody meeting room at The Other Place is light and airy and has space for up to 16 people.

Foyers

The Other Place

Over two floors with its own cafe - Susie's bar, there is space for a catering buffet and plenty of room to mingle. Max 120 people.

Upper Circle Bar

The Royal Shakespeare Theatre

Enjoying views across the Bancroft Gardens and beyond, this room can accommodate up to 120 people.

Circle Bar

The Royal Shakespeare Theatre

This art deco bar overlooking the River Avon is ideal for drinks receptions as well as meetings. Max 60 people.

Michel St Denis

The Other Place

The smallest of our rehearsal spaces it is a particularly good breakout room. Max 140 people.

Backstage Trust

The Other Place

The biggest RSC rehearsal space is ideal for large meetings as it has a double-height ceiling. Max 200 people.

The Gatsby Charitable Foundation rehearsal room

A great meeting room or conference space and popular for gala dinners and award ceremonies. Max 180 people.
