Select Your Own Seat
You can Select Your Own Seat when buying tickets online for performances in Stratford-upon-Avon.
With Select Your Own Seat you can view plans for our Theatres and see the available seats, along with ticket prices for your chosen production. Once you have selected your seats you can purchase your tickets securely online.
Select Your Own Seat still allows you to take advantage most of the RSC ticket discounts such as Family Tickets, Over 60s tickets and 16-25 £5 tickets.
To use Select Your Own Seat you need to have Adobe Flash installed on your computer. If Flash is already installed then Select Your Own Seat will automatically appear when you buy tickets. If you do not have Flash installed you can download it for free at the Adobe website.
If you do not wish to Select Your Own Seat then you may still buy tickets online using the Best Available service. Just click Best Available during the ticket buying process.
Step by step guide to Select Your Own Seat
1. Visit Buy Tickets and select the performance you wish to attend.
2. Choose the date of the performance you wish to attend.
3. If you have a promotion code, please enter the code in the box on the right hand side of the screen.
4. Select the level of the theatre you wish to be seated.
5. Use your mouse to hover over the various seats in the next diagram to view ticket prices and availability.
6. Move back to the Choose Seats section by clicking the middle tab.
7. Click on the seats you wish to purchase. Once you have selected all the seats you require please click the Add to Basket button. If Over 60s and Family discounts are applicable for the performance you have chosen, the option to apply these discounts will appear when you select your seat. Your seats will not be reserved until they have been added to your basket.
8. When prompted Log In using your existing username and password or create an account.
9. Check that your order is correct and proceed with our secure payment facility.
