Ticket prices for Romeo and Juliet, King Lear and Antony and Cleopatra at the Theatre Royal range from £12 to £45, depending on when you'd like to see a production, if you qualify for any discounts and where you'd like to sit in the auditorium. One of the easiest ways to look at ticket prices is to visit the Theatre Royal website and select the performance you would like to see. If you are looking to save money on the price of your ticket, choosing reduced price previews, midweek performances or Saturday matinees will help you to buy your tickets for less.
Tickets for Young People's Shakespeare Hamlet cost £5 for people aged 25 and under and £10 for people aged 26 and over.

16 - 25 year olds RSC £5 ticket scheme
Anyone aged 16 to 25 can take advantage of the RSC's £5 ticket scheme. 50 tickets will be held off sale (across a range of prices) for each performance at the Theatre Royal. 25 of these tickets can be booked in advance. The remaining 25 will be sold from the Theatre Royal Booking Office from 9am (10am Wednesday) on the day of each performance.

Season tickets
A Newcastle season ticket is often available for a series of RSC productions in Newcastle. If you buy tickets to see Romeo and Juliet, King Lear and Antony & Cleopatra you can save 10% on the price of your tickets.

£15 Schools tickets are available for Monday - Wednesday evening performances and midweek matinees. Please book directly with the venue's Box Office.

Group bookings
Discounts are available for group bookings on Tuesday - Thursday evening performances and Saturday matinees (excluding gallery seats). The discount offers £2 off for Groups of 10 or more, £2.50 off for Groups of 20 or more and the group organiser goes free. For groups of 40 or more, the offer is £3 off and the group organiser goes free and receives a complimentary programme.
