Human Resources Department (Ref: WP07)
RSC Human Resources has a team incorporating one Director of Human Resources, one HR Manager, two HR Officers and a HR Administrator.
The department offers advice on pay, leave, conditions of service, and staff recruitment - from writing adverts to shortlisting, interviewing, appointing and then sending for references.

About the placement
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
- See how the theory of Human Resources translates into day to day HR within a unique environment
- Develop an understanding of the skills and behaviours required to operate as an effective HR professional
- Observe a wide range of HR responsibilities ranging from day to day administration to the development of overall HR service
- Undertake project work centred around the organisational priorities at the time of placement.
Criteria
We are looking for applicants who are committed to a career in Human Resources.
Essential attributes:
- Be a graduate, or be studying a HR related degree or equivalent
- Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Possess high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Have the ability to act with integrity and to observe confidentiality
- Possess an ability to communicate well at all levels.
Desirable attributes:
- Good understanding of Health and Safety at Work Act
- Basic understanding of Data Protection Act
- Experience of HR Databases
- Basic knowledge of key employment legislation.
