School work experience
If you are interested in a career backstage in theatre then the Taste of Theatre work experience week might be for you. Every year, we invite 24 young people in Years 10 and 11 to join us for Taste of Theatre work experience week.
- Take part in activities that demonstrate how different theatre departments contribute to our productions
- Gain a broad understanding of many of the non-performing roles within an international theatre company
- Learn how they work together to make a successful production
- Take part in workshops hosted by a variety of theatre departments
In 2014 the focus will be on Henry IV, Part I. If you are interested in more detail here's an example of this year's schedule for you to download [PDF]. Please note, this is an example only. In 2014 there won't be a matinee performance and students will watch the performance on Monday evening.
