Teaching Shakespeare goes worldwide
Our online professional development resource for teachers is going to the US, Canada, and Australia.
Working with Warwick Business School (part of the University of Warwick), we have developed a new partnership with Oxford University Press to distribute Teaching Shakespeare worldwide.
Launched last year in the UK, Teaching Shakespeare can transform the connections students make with Shakespeare's plays and language.
It includes more than 100 films featuring modelled lessons and interviews with leading RSC directors, practitioners and academics.
It provides teachers with the essential skills and knowledge to develop active, drama-based approaches which will bring Shakespeare's work to life.
The new partnership with OUP will mean that even greater numbers – initially in the UK, US, Canada, and Australia, as well as International Schools around the world – will be able to access these approaches.
