Julius Caesar opens in Ohio
Our award-winning production of Shakespeare's political thriller, set in modern Africa ends its tour in Ohio.
The production, directed by Gregory Doran, is on the final leg of a tour that has taken it across the UK and on to Moscowand New York, following its run in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre last year.
The company, which includes Paterson Joseph as Brutus, Cyril Nri as Cassius, Ray Fearon as Mark Antony and Jeffery Kissoon as Caesar, will play in the Southern Theatre, Columbus until Sunday (5 May).
Pictured is actor Adjoa Andoh, who plays Portia, taking part in a Sonnet Slam in Central park last month, when the company was in New York. She was one of 154 readers who recited all 154 of Shakespeare's sonnets, to mark the playwright's 449th birthday.
