Swords ready for Fight Week
This week (Monday 7 July – Friday 11 July) we will be celebrating all things stage combat – look out for RSC Fight Week on Twitter and Facebook.
Get stage fighting tips from our current acting company, look back at some of the best battles on our stages and send us your questions for stage combat expert Terry King.
Terry King is one of the most experienced fight directors in the UK, having worked on hundreds of stage productions as well as on film and TV.
He has directed the fights for Gregory Doran's current productions of Henry IV Parts I and II, and is currently working on the West End production of Shakespeare in Love, Holy Warriors at Shakespeare's Globe, Amadeus at Chichester Festival Theatre and the national tour of A Perfect Murder.
Whether you're after stage fighting advice for your own production or want to know how we create breathtakingly realistic battles and brawls, send us your question for Terry and we will publish the full interview later this week.
Send us your questions via Twitter using #RSCFightWeek or post on the RSC Facebook Page.
