February 2012

British Yorkshire Pudding Day Sunday 5 February 2012
Roast beef simply isn't the Sunday Lunch it can be without light, golden Yorkshire Puddings. We're extremely proud of our Yorkshires, which apart from being delicious provide a dramatic feast for the eyes. Head Chef Nick Funnell shares his recipe as the nation celebrates this icon of British cooking. Recipe available on request. See below for further information.

Valentines' offer
A delicious three course meal in the Rooftop Restaurant and Bar with a glass of multi award-winning Ridgeview Grosvenor Blanc de Blancs '07 on arrival and a special Shakespearean treat for every couple (£32.50 per head). Available from 7.30pm on Saturday 11 February and Tuesday 14 February 2012 only.

National Chip Week Monday 20 February - Sunday 26 February 2012

National Garlic Day Thursday 19 April 2012
Used in cooking for centuries and revered for its medicinal properties and mystical powers, garlic is so much more than the often dried out bulbs found on supermarket shelves up and down the land. RSC Head Chef Nick Funnell celebrates this magical ingredient with some wondrous wild garlic recipes. Recipes available on request. See below for further information.

Sitting on the third floor of the Royal Shakespeare Company's newly transformed theatres in Stratford-upon-Avon, The Rooftop Restaurant and Bar supports and promotes British cooking and produce from Warwickshire, the West Midlands and around the country.

The dining room boasts stunning panoramic views of Shakespeare's home town, the River Avon and surrounding countryside. Original 1930s art deco features combine with elegant modern furniture to create an informal yet striking dining space unlike any other in the Midlands, and a terrace overlooking nearby Bancroft Gardens offers the perfect spot for summer meals al fresco.
