50 tickets at £5 on sale at the RSC as part of its 50th birthday celebrations
The RSC's premiere of David Farr's production of Pinter's The Homecoming starts previewing on 28 July in the Swan Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon. It is being revived as part of the company's 50th birthday season after receiving its original premiere with the RSC in 1965.
To celebrate the RSC's 50th Birthday and the opening of the production, 50 tickets will be made available at £5 each for performances between Monday 1 – Saturday 6 August (excluding Wednesday 3 August). The £5 tickets are available on a first come first served basis* and can be booked in advance from Friday 22 July by calling the RSC Ticket Hotline 0844 800 1110 and quoting 'Birthday 50 Offer'.
The Homecoming, which is considered by many to be Harold Pinter's masterpiece, features Jonathan Slinger, Aislín McGuckin, Justin Sallinger and Nicholas Woodeson in the cast and is directed by RSC Associate Director David Farr. It plays in repertoire until 15 October this year.
