It is with great sadness that we heard that Peter Shorey died on 7 December 2011.
Peter joined the RSC in 2008 playing Tubal in Tim Carroll's The Merchant of Venice, Gremio in The Taming of the Shrew, and Oliver Cromwell in Adriano Shaplin's play The Tragedy of Thomas Hobbes.
He returned the following year, joining the ensemble to play Curan in King Lear, Adam in Michael Boyd's As You Like It, and Menecrates in Antony and Cleopatra, as well as a memorable Old Woman in The Grain Store.
