London Season 2008-9
We return to London this November with a season of Shakespeare plays at the Novello Theatre, home to our previous London Seasons in 2005 and 2006.
We will also be presenting two world premieres at one of London's most evocative performance spaces, Wilton's Music Hall.
Novello Theatre
The Novello Theatre will host three productions from our current Summer Season in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Hamlet
3 December 2008 - 10 January 2009
We are experiencing extremely high demand for Hamlet tickets and, as such, most performances have limited availability. Joining as an RSC Member may not guarantee you tickets for Hamlet.
A Midsummer Night's Dream
15 January - 7 February 2009
The Taming of the Shrew
12 February - 7 March 2009
Wilton's Music Hall
'London's most beautiful 'lost' theatre'
Daily Mail
We are all looking forward to presenting a season of new writing at Wilton's Music Hall, the last-surviving and oldest grand music hall in the world. A fascinating remnant of a vanished era, Wilton's was known as the ‘handsomest room in town'. With its crumbling interior and air of faded grandeur, Wilton's has a unique and magical atmosphere providing the perfect venue for this year's new writing.
